Today students worked in pairs to solve some math puzzles!
Students completed their first STEM challenge of the year. They worked in groups to create the tallest possible tower that would hold an apple on top. Students were only able to use school supplies such as construction paper, markers, pencils, tape, rulers and paper clips. . To welcome students to school, the class read a Close Read passage about how the pineapple became a symbol of hospitality and welcoming. They interviewed another students in the class and wrote a paragraph about that student. Some and visit their projects on Open House! |
